with a 10-8-4 mark. It was the first time the Cougars have reached
the 10-win mark in the short 3-year history of the school. Butler
County won the Region VI with a win over Johnson in the finals.
Highlights
The Cougars fell behind early in the contest as Johnson County

from Regina Zink. Galeaz then evened the game on an unassisted
goal with just 2:30 remaining in the game on her 18th goal of the
year – an unassisted score. That is where the game stayed
through the end of regulation. The score remained 2-all through
the first overtime and nearly the 2nd as well as Johnson scored
in the waning seconds of the 2nd overtime to end the Cougars season.
Barton broke several school marks this year including most wins
in a season and Richelle Galeaz set goal and scoring marks as well
