The Cougars are coming off one of their more productive outings offensively in an 82-47 win over Dodge. It was Barton's highest point total in West play the 2nd time all season Barton shot better than 50% from the field.....Despite their last 2 road losses, Barton still has a winning mark in West road games at 3-2.....Barton has won 3 straight in Garden City and 4 of the last 5 at the Perryman Athletic Complex. Barton has won 6 straight overall agains tthe Broncbusters until a 69-66 loss at Great Bend earlier this year.....Annie Kassongo has a double-double in 15 games this year and 5 straight. She is now averaging a double-double at 15.5 points and 10.0 rebounds. Only 2 times this year has Garden ended a losing skid at 1 game. The Broncbuster have lost back-to-back on 5 occasions.....Garden City could all but lock up a home playoff spot with a win over Barton. As it is, even if Barton wins at Garden the Broncbuster still have the inside track on the 4th and final home spot.....Garden is 4-1 at home in conference play this year with the only loss coming 80-77 in overtime to No. 21 Cloud.....Garden City shot 50% from the field at the Barton Gym in a 69-66 win that saw Garden lead nearly the entire contest. The Coguars has one last possession to tie the game but failed.
