Notes
Indy and Barton hooked up last year in the Region VI playoffs with Barton winning 62-55 in the semifinals. The teams also met earlier this year in Coffeyville at the Shoot Out with Barton winning 66-54. The Pirates, however, played that game without its leading scorer (16.3) and Freshman of the Year in the East, Sadie Webb. She scored a season-high 31 in a game against Neosho earlier in the season. Webb was a 2nd team All East pick while sophomore Rhea Codio was a 1st team All East selection. She is scoring 14.3 per game and handing out 6.5 assists.....Indy has won 8 of 11 games.....Indy is 2nd in the Jayhawk in 3-pointers made this season with 237. Only Johnson County (241) has more. Those are also the only 2 schools with more than 700 attempts.

Barton has won 15 straight games heading into the Region VI quarterfinals.....During the past 5 seasons, the Cougars have been in the Region VI championship game 3 times. Barton is 11-2 in the Region VI playoffs during that time.....Kristine Silaraja was named 1st team all West Tuesday. Michelle White and Courtney Sturdivant picked up 2nd team honors while Jordi James was tabbed honorable mention. Coach Jill Barclay was the named the Coach of the Year.....The Cougars have had 4 different players led them in scoring during the past 5 games. For the season, 7 different players have led in scoring with Kristine Silaraja leading Barton 12 different times and Jordi James 8 times. All 10 players have led Barton in rebouding at one time or another this season.
