Coach John Hunter comments
" This is without question, the best Dodge team I have seen in my time at Barton. Winning on the road in this league is difficult, as every coach in every sport will tell you, so we are happy to come away with the victory against a good team."

"We are still making too many errors. In game one we made 12 unforced errors which gave them 12 of their 20 points. Obviously that is too many. I am sure as time goes by and we settle in on a lineup, we will be able to iron those things out."

"The great thing about our team is that we can get a lift from anyone on the floor. So far in every match it has been different people who make critical plays to get us going. We talk to our kids all the time about 'making plays' and I thought Justeen Patton and Raquel Ferriera did an incredible job making plays on defense. Justeen's serving ability also was critical to our success."

"After driving through, and right along with, an incredible thunderstorm last night, we are happy to have a weekend to rest before we begin preparing for Garden City's visit next Wednesday."
