Ken
Henderson is in his 23rd year as Barton County’s head athletic
trainer. Henderson came to BCCC in January of 1981 and completed
his master’s degree in physical education from Drake University
in Des Moines, Iowa soon afterward. He served as a graduate assistance
athletic trainer for one year at Drake. In 1979, he graduated with
a physical education degree from the University of Kansas where
he was a member of the Jayhawk athletic training staff. Henderson,
a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers Association,
and a Kansas registered athletic trainer, is active in the Kansas
Athletic Trainers Society and involved with promoting athletic training
concerns in the Jayhawk Conference. Ken and his wife Diann, live
in Hoisington.
