That is the best stretch of basketball the Cougars have played all season.....Barton and Seward are 1-2 in the West this season in assists.....Barton has won 4 straight games against Seward but the Saints have won 2 of the last 3 in Liberal.....In the 1st contest, Barton shot 57% from the floor and outrebounded Seward 43-23 to earn an 83-66 win.....Barton would finish in at least a tie for 3rd in the West with a win. The Cougars would finish tied for 4th with a loss.....Antanas Kavaliauskas sprained his ankle in the win at Dodge but is expected to play at Seward. The sophomore will be concluding his career at Barton needing 10 rebounds to average a double double for the season. The Saints have wrapped up the No. 2 seed from the West in the upcoming Region VI tournament. Seward will open at home against Highland or Allen County from the East.
