4 - Andrew Giambrone

High School/Club

While at Manhattan High School Andrew hit 3 home runs and drove in 18 runs while hitting .395 his senior year. Andrew also added 7 stolen bases, maintaining a 1.000 fielding percentage. A 4-year starter for the Indians, he helped Manhattan to a 4th place finish in the 2003 state tournament finishing 22-4 in the I-70 League. He received a 2nd Team All I-70 league nomination his junior and senior season and was voted 1st Team All State as a utility player his senior season.

Elson was a 3 year starter for Wichita Northwest High School. During his senior season he hit .420 with 18 RBI and a .987 fielding percentage. Helped summer team, the Wichita Sluggers, win the 18-year-old NBC World Series.

As a freshman, Newton played in 37 games and started 35 for the Cougars while batting .289. Newton also finished the season with a .944 fielding percentage.

High School/Club
Newton hit .365 as a senior at Manhattan High while knocking in 29 RBI’s. Mark had a .990 fielding percentage his senior season and was a two year starter. He helped his team to 2001 and 2002 I-70 League championships. He gained experience on a 2000 Junior Legion State Championship team as well. Mark was an All I-70 League selection in 2001 and 2002.

Morales finished up his junior season with a 9-3 record, pitching 94 innings with 63 strikeouts, 35 walks, and a 3.79 ERA. He was a 4-year starter and a 4-year letter winner helping his team capture two League Conferences. Ronnie received MVP pitching honors three years.
